Re: Air Rides

Singapore Airlines will layoff a massive number of people. It was in a Tamil News paper a few days ago. The Tamils are the major minority there.

Re: Air Rides

This makes more sense (and is more carbon-friendly):

With travel limited, plane cafes take off in Thailand

With millions around the world stuck at home due to the pandemic, "plane cafes" in Thailand are offering customers the chance to pretend they are in the sky -- and the idea seems to have taken off.

On board a retired commercial airplane in the coastal city of Pattaya, coffee drinkers make themselves comfy on first-class-style seats and pose for photos by the overhead lockers.

Boarding passes in hand, some "passengers" even opt for a tour of the cockpit.

Re: Air Rides

Masks are required in shopping malls, office buildings, etc. where strangers mix. But in restaurants, groups at tables go maskless. (Note the stewardess is wearing a face shield.) The virus is effectively nonexistent in the country now, so some people are slacking off, but most people still wear masks wherever they go.

I wear a mask most places when I leave home, except when I’m seated in a restaurant, and when I’m in the gym.
