Your Personal Top 5 Mutual Fund Holdings?

I thought of a discussion that might prove interesting for us.  A lot of us here own several mutual funds in our overall portfolio.  However, I thought it might be telling if we shared our top 5 largest mutual fund holdings.  This would say something about what funds we own which are our "highest conviction" funds since we are willing to make them the largest percentage of our portfolio.  I would be most interested to hear some of you share your largest holdings as well if you were willing.  I will share my personal top 5 in the order of my largest holdings:

T. Rowe Price Capital Appreciation (PRWCX)

Dodge and Cox Balanced (DODBX)

Primecap Odyssey Aggressive Growth (POAGX)

Vanguard Capital Opportunity (VHCAX)

Vanguard Dividend Growth (VDIGX)

@ironranger61 Thanks for sharing!  Nice choices!  Good blend of stocks, bonds, growth, and value.  Vanguard Wellesley Income (VWINX) is an amazing core holding in my opinion.  I also own a relatively large position in Vanguard Global Wellesley (VGWIX), though it is not quite in my top 5.

Re: Your Personal Top 5 Mutual Fund Holdings?

My top 5 represents 14% of my Schwab and Fidelity portfolio.

VDADX    Vangard  Dividend Appreciation
VWEHX    Vangard HY Bond (higher tier junk)
VDIGX      Vangard Dividend Growth
SWPPX    Schwab S&P 500 index (also include FIdelity's FXAIX in this item).
FSPHX     Fidelity Select Health Care

It's a bit goofy. FSPHX is mostly from LTCG since 1990. I would rather it be in TRBCX, SCHD or FCNTX, also larger holdings.

I'm 71 and wife is 69. We don't have much in the way of bond ballast and aren't counting on the brokerage portfolios for income. We live off SS, pension, and dividends from legacy stocks held in our safe deposit box,

Re: Your Personal Top 5 Mutual Fund Holdings?

I got completely out of the market earlier this year. At 77 my pot is big enough along with SS and pension I don't really need to invest and will hopefully still have plenty left for my kids.  In hindsight it was a bad move. Having made a nice profit for the last 10 years I gave up a years worth of gains. Got back in a little a 2 months ago and don't plan to add anymore until the virus and the economy settle down. It was so boring having no investments.
