We are excited to announce that WisdomTree models are now available on our Model Marketplace.
WisdomTree Modern Alpha® ETF Model Portfolios implement an open-architecture and index-centric approach that seeks to add value through asset allocation, ETF selection and our Modern Alpha approach relative to composite cap-weighted benchmarks. While the models are strategic in nature, they also reflect tactical tilts based on market conditions. By incorporating ETFs that provide representative exposure and rebalance back to measures of relative value, WisdomTree seeks to increase absolute and risk-adjusted returns compared to traditional approaches that predominantly use market-cap weighted funds.
With the addition of WisdomTree’s 9 models, we now have a total of 302 models from 14 asset manager participants on Model Marketplace, which is available through Morningstar Office℠ Cloud.
Since our launch in May 2019, the following participants have joined our Model Marketplace: American Funds by Capital Group; Blackrock; Fidelity Investments®; Franklin Templeton; Invesco; J.P. Morgan Asset Management; Northern Trust Asset Management; PIMCO; Redwood Investment Management; Russell Investments; T. Rowe Price; VanEck; and Vanguard.
Morningstar, Inc. and the participating companies in its Model Marketplace are separate, unaffiliated companies. Morningstar is not responsible for information, opinions, or services provided by participating companies.
In June 2006, WisdomTree launched with a big idea and an impressive mission—to create a better way to invest. We believed investors shouldn’t have to choose between cost efficiency and performance potential, so we developed the first family of ETFs designed to deliver both. Our strategies combine the promise of active management, such as the potential of outperformance against a benchmark, with the benefits of passive management to create ETFs built for performance.
WisdomTree has launched many first-to-market ETFs and pioneered alternative weighting methods commonly referred to as “smart beta.” But our ETFs are not beta, smart or otherwise—they are an investment innovation we call Modern Alpha®.
